The West Bend Community Association (WBCA) is a volunteer organization made up of West Bend residents and is funded by annual membership dues.
The mandate of the WBCA is to improve the community within our designated boundaries and the City of Toronto through active participation in neighbourhood projects.
The WBCA has been active for approximately 30 years. It is recognized by the City of Toronto as a community organization and receives public notices of City initiatives affecting the area. The WBCA exists to:
- Express and reflect the interests of our local community and interact with all levels of government to ensure that our collective voice is heard.
- Foster a sense of community and promote a healthy, happy and safe living environment.
Membership
Membership in the WBCA has a nominal fee per person per meeting year which helps cover the cost of the meeting location rental fee, our website, and membership of the WBCA in FoSTRA the Federation of South Toronto Residents’ Association.
With a paid membership you can vote during our annual general meeting in October and help keep the WBCA active.
Please consider a paid membership!
As we are not equipped to accept e-transfers (yet!) we would greatly appreciate cash or cheque payments. We will be requesting $20.00 per member for the 2024-2025 meeting year.
